AFTERCARE

Proper aftercare is essential to ensure your fine line tattoo heals beautifully.

 

FIRST 24-48 HOURS:

• Keep your tattoo clean and covered as advised

• Avoid touching with unclean hands

• If you have a second skin dressing, this can stay on for 2-3 days

• For cling film dressings, these can stay on for up 4-6 hours

 

CLEANING:

• After removing the dressing, gently wash with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap

• Pat dry — do not rub

 

MOISTURISING:

• Apply a thin layer of recommended aftercare cream twice a day (minimum) until the tattoo has healed

• Do not over-moisturise

• Do not use petroleum based moisturisers

THINGS TO AVOID:

• Direct sunlight

• Swimming or soaking

• Tight clothing on the area

• Picking or scratching

​

HEALING TIME:

Fine line tattoos typically heal within 2–4 weeks.
